Emmerdale Spoilers: Pierce Harris Secret Revealed As His Mum Martha Returns

When evil Pierce returns to “Emmerdale,” he’ll bring some extra baggage along: his secretive and mysterious mother. Does she know much more about the monster than she’s letting on?

Pierce has been gone from the village for a few weeks, after he did the unimaginable to his new bride. When Rhona married the handsome man she had no idea the violence that he was capable of. Unfortunately she found out on their wedding night, when he raped her.

The traumatized woman returned to town without Pierce, and she has managed to keep the truth a closely guarded secret. Prior to her return, she reported the crime to the authorities, but she declined to press charges and did not name Pierce as her attacker.

But her erratic behavior has not gone unnoticed, and her ex-husband Paddy will reach out to her new husband in a plea for help. Rhona has begun taking painkillers again, and her ex is afraid that the consequences will be ugly for all involved.

Explosive spoilers reveal that next week poor Rhona will find Pierce in her house, definitely uninvited and certainly unwanted. Will she buckle or buck up? After a candid talk with her friend, brave Rhona finds the courage to do the right thing. She goes to the police and reports Pierce’s crime. But don’t think that the story ends there! Far from being over, TPTB have hinted that the upcoming plot will involve unimaginable consequences. What twists and turns might ensue?

For one, Pierce’s enigmatic mother Martha reappears in Emmerdale. Is this resurfacing act a positive sign or a bad omen? Only time will tell, but thus far Martha has been nothing but nice and sweet. She first appeared in April, and told Rhona at the time that she hoped her son wouldn’t repeat history with her. Uh oh. She declined to spill further deets, and when Rhona asked Pierce about the innuendo he feigned innocence.
