Emmerdale Spoilers: Murder Mystery at the Dales

Can you guess who killed Emma Barton (Gillian Kearney) on Emmerdale? Her ending was not the suicide that we first thought. And she certainly has enough enemies. What’s your theory about who took out the murderous woman? Well here are some of the suspects that the show is putting up for suspicion.

Her sons seem to be very likely subjects. Ross Barton (Micheal Parr) who of course left his mother’s body when he found it. As well as burning her bags! He doesn’t exactly scream innocence.

Pete Barton (Anthony Quinlan), the son of the deceased, has lost a brother and a mother in the last few weeks. He has shown to be emotional and distracted. But is he carrying guilt? Was he angry at his mother for the murder of his father and brother! Would he take further action on Emma?

Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy), the vicar’s wife held a huge grudge against Emma. Laurel went on a warpath to prove Emma’s wrongdoings, but did she take the law into her own hands, and push her down the viaduct?  Laurel has the perfect alibi, she was away at the time of Emma’s death, visiting a relative. But this could be a cover up, we saw Laurel desperately trying to cover her tracks.

Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) we saw this courageous young child trying to catch Emma out in the days leading up to her death. And it’s not like we haven’t seen child murderers before, EastEnders’s Bobby Beale captured the nations for months! Could Gabby have gone after Emma?

Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) a less likely suspect, but a suspect none the less. As a new daddy he may have gone after Emma for the abduction of his child. Cain of course has a criminal back ground and has been known to do some pretty terrible things in the past. Especially when family is involved.

Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) is a suspect for the same reason, her son, well and the attempted murder. Emma locked her in a fire burning shed of course. Pretty good reason to want to repay the favour.
