Emmerdale Spoilers: Matt’s Return Splits Up Marlon and Carly?

Emmerdale actor Mark Charnock has let slip that Marlon and Carly might not have the happiest of Springs. Whilst on This Morning, a popular UK show the actor hinted that the pair may well be thrown into the flames once more. When asked by hosts of the show Phillip Scofield and Holly Willoughby, he revealed that Marlon was going to propose to Carly.

But when her ex Matt returns to the Dales what will happen between the two? There seems to be chemistry between the two. Carly lost the child that the two conceived which halted their relationship.

Matt was not told about the child which means drama is very much likely to unfold. The child was lost to cot death but Carly chose to not tell Matt about the child. It is said that his first scene on the show is going to be emotional, will Carly tell him?

Marlon is very much in love with Carly, who has taken a very permanent part in his life. She has bonded with Marlon’s child and the pair have been very happy up until this point.

Mark Charnock said that Marlon believes “She’s out of his league, but doesn’t behave like she’s out of his league. She’s everything that he thought she would have been.” It’s clear that Marlon is smitten, will this new arrival crush his dreams? Or will the pair be able to survive through the drama.

It may not be that the mysterious Matt breaks the two up, once he hears of the death of his unknown child is going to grief. He is likely to be angry with Carly for never telling him of the child’s existence. But this will throw a spanner in the works for the couple. Mark said it will “throw everything into a new light again, just when he thought he was getting somewhere.”
