Emmerdale viewers know that Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) is mom to her kids Debbie (Charley Webb), Noah (Jack Downham) and Moses (Arthur Cockroft). But will they soon catch sight of another, mystery child of hers?
A source told The Sun that a blockbuster plot involving a fourth child of Charity’s is set to debut in 2018.
The Metro sought comment about this development from the show, but Emmerdale would neither confirm nor deny the story.
According to the unnamed source the speculated-upon storyline reveals that Charity was raped as a teen and subsequently had, and then surrendered, the newborn.

If the story comes does make it to air, it will involve her son reappearing at an interesting time in Charity’s life. Charity had a recent hookup with Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) that did not end well.
In addition she and her family are in danger of losing their land, a fight they are taking to the bitter end. Ironically, it is Debbie’s boyfriend, smooth-talking Tom Waterhouse (Ned Porteous) that is behind the uber-shady deal to take the land and develop a golf course on it. To her credit, Charity has told Debbie about her suspicions regarding the handsome suitor.
It remains to be seen if the conjecture about a fourth child for Charity pans out. If so it would no doubt have a ripple effect on Charity’s life. If her friends and family are unaware of her tragic past, she will have them to contend with as she explains her actions.

But in the midst of all that is going on in her world, Charity will no doubt be rocked to her core to come face to face with a past that she may have thought she left behind.
How would Charity react to seeing her son again? Do you think that this potential story would be worth pursuing at this point in Charity’s life?
