It depends on who you ask, but Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) would say that it’s not all bad having Daz Spencer (Mark Jordan) back in the Dales. The same can’t be said for Dan Spencer (Liam Fox) who would just as soon compare his brother to a bad penny—always turning up when you least want it!
But maybe Dan has a point, because bad seed Daz will be responsible for a very scary incident involving Dan’s innocent, young daughter Amelia (Daisy Campbell). And it’s not the first time that Daz causes Dan consternation where a loved one is concerned.
Prior to his long absence from town, Daz had the gall to come on to Kerry on the eve of her wedding to Dan. So uncool, Daz!

But Kerry feels bad for the guy when she spies him back in the Dales homeless and asking for handouts. She pleads with Dan to mend fences with his wayward sibling, but it seems like that will happen only when Hades freezes over. Plus, they need to have a long-awaited brawl first, one in which Daz gets hurt.
This week, Emmerdale spoilers tease that a miracle happens and the two Spencer brothers forge an uneasy peace when Dan realizes that his bro is ailing because of their fight. Feeling guilty, Dan takes a look-see at Daz’s injured wrist, and even lets him stay in his camper.

It seems like a chorus of kumbaya might break out as the two brothers sit down and begin to talk. Although it’s awkward at first, the duo breaks the ice and things seem swell.
Until Amelia gets curious and finds something she shouldn’t. For some reason Daz is hiding a knife under his pillow. When Amelia comes across the sharp blade, she cuts herself and chances are that Dan will hit the roof hard when he finds out about it.
