Emmerdale Spoilers: Adam Thomas Addresses Exit Rumors

Read his lips: Adam Thomas is absolutely, positively not leaving, “Emmerdale!” Concerned that fans were buying into rumors that he was planning to leave the show, he recently opened up about his true intentions.

Earlier this year rumors began to swirl that the young, hunky star was about to ditch his soap role as Adam Barton for greener pastures. Fans flocked online to speculate about what the actor had planned, and now he’s talking out to set the record straight.

In short, viewers can now rest easy: Thomas has emphatically denied that he has any intention of leaving the popular sudser in the near future.

Whew! When he was asked to respond to the fans’ fears about a possible departure, he strongly denied that he has immediate plans to exit. “There is no truth behind it. I’m happy here, I’m staying here. Life is good here, so I don’t want to move on just yet,” he told Metro.

Thomas even found time to inject a bit of humor into the situation, joking, “Yeah, I’ve got my own show apparently, if you want to be guests! Or I’ll get you tickets for the audience!’

The talented actor couldn’t rule out an exit from the soap someday, however, saying that he’d evaluate opportunities as they pop up. “Acting is my passion and my main thing,” he explained. “Obviously if something comes up, then it comes up, but I’ll see what happens.”

Thomas did enjoy his turn on, “I’m A Celebrity,” however, even though he has said that near-starvation was a part of the daily routine! Commenting on the experience, Thomas was quick to speculate about which of his jungle costars would make a good Emmerdale star. The soap actor believes wholeheartedly that either Larry or Jordan would make perfect cameo actors!

So rest assured Emmerdale fans, by his own admission Thomas has declared that he definitely wants to keep acting and remain an Emmerdale cast member!
