Emmerdale Actor Matthew Wolfenden Reveals Major Injury

Matthew Wolfenden might want to stick to acting! The Emmerdale star recently revealed a horrific injury after a DIY stunt went drastically wrong.

The soap opera star didn’t go into detail as far as what happened, but he did say that his injury was so bad that he could see his own bone.

Matthew shared a photo of his injury and wrote on Twitter, “Bit of DIY today ended in 4 hours in A&E and a comedy bandage to take home! Cut it so deep I could see the bone. #owch #idiot.”

Luckily for Matthew, his fans have shown him plenty of support online by posting comments such as, “That’s dreadful Matt, hope you feel better soon and it heals quickly. No more DIY for you,” along with, “That’s dreadful Matt, hope you feel better soon and it heals quickly. No more DIY for you.”

Meanwhile, Matthew admitted earlier this year that he and his partner Charley Webb would love to have another child this year. The couple already have two children, Buster, 7, and 1-year-old Bowie.

He told OK! Magazine, “We’ll try for another baby before we plan our wedding. We definitely want to get married, but another little one will be first. We’ve always wanted a big family. We talk about it, so hopefully we’re lucky enough to have another.”
