EastEnders Star Lorraine Stanley Says She’s a Cast Regular Now – Karen Taylor Isn’t Going Anywhere!

Lorraine Stanley is thrilled to announce that she’s now a cast regular on the hit British soap drama ‘EastEnders.’ In fact, the television actress says that it was only a matter of time before she would become a full-time star on the show. Now, Lorraine is opening up about her character Karen Taylor, her new life at Albert Square and her daughter Bernadette’s shocking pregnancy.

Speaking to Soap Life, Lorraine says that Karen Taylor is doing whatever it takes to show the community in Walford that she has what it takes to succeed, even if she has to go through some bumps along the way.

Lorraine said, “She’s a trier and she really wants people in Walford to see that she isn’t lazy. She’s got six kids and she’s trying her best to make it work as a family. However, she’s going to be struggling even more now that Bernadette’s pregnant. She puts on a brave face, but you’ll see she’s a lot more vulnerable than she appears to be.”

Lorraine also added that thanks to the wonderful cast and crew, she’s settled in quite well in her new role on the long-running British soap drama. Of course, this isn’t the first time viewers have seen her on the small screen. She previously played Mo Harris on the spin-off show, ‘EastEnders: Pat and Mo.”

She added, “I’m loving it. Everyone’s made me feel really welcome. I already knew lots of the cast. Honey Mitchell actress Emma Barton and I studied together for three years, I knew Mick Carter actor Danny Dyer and I did a play with Kellie Bright, who plays Linda.”
