‘EastEnders’ Spoilers: Will Sexting Scheme Land A Walford Teen In Jail?

Is the, “EastEnders,” sexting plot about to land a Walford teen in jail? It’s possible that sweet teenager Bex could be sent to prison for her role in what’s become known as the “revenge porn” storyline!

But what a disaster that would be for Bex, who is certainly not emotionally equipped to become an inmate!

When Bex and her boyfriend Shakil sent naked pictures of themselves to each other, both were under 18, making their activities illicit in the eyes of the law.

Last month Bex’s so-called friends stole her phone and sent the naughty pics to the mean girls at school. When the whole crazy scenario exploded out into the open, the mean girls made Bex take the blame. And now the consequences of her actions may come back to haunt naïve Bex.

It’s a storyline that has fans flocking to social media to air their opinions en masse. One fan tweeted, “Well done to @bbceastenders highlighting the issue of sexting and social media bullying. Sensitive subject but needs awareness #eastenders.”

Another fan tweeted, “I like the way @bbceastenders have done a revenge storyline from a guys prospective.” 

In particular, viewers have praised the way Shakil has handled this whole mess. “Just wanna give shakki a hug,” and, “great story wiv shakil… shows sexting dnt jus go bad for girls,” were typical comments in support of the young man.

But for some the sexting storyline has proved to be a bit too violent for viewers who have been vocal about the show’s recent turbulent storytelling. Most notably many “EastEnders,” fans were not happy with the way the sudser portrayed the recent epic bus crash story.

So it was understandable that scenes showing Shakil being beat up in the schoolyard were not to some fans’ liking.

“Fight scene outside school TOO VIOLENT BY FAR !!! Not happy,” was a typical tweet in response to the intense fight that left Shakil bloody and shaken.

If Bex is sent to prison it will be another controversial storytelling move that’s sure to enrage already angry “EastEnders” fans!
