EastEnders Spoilers: Tina Furious Over Sylvie’s Funeral Nightmare, Family War Brewing?

After a long battle with dementia Sylvie Carter (played by Linda Marlowe) passed away a couple of weeks ago on EastEnders. In a shock and unexpected twist, poor Sylvie was found in the bath tub after electrocuting herself by accident. She had long been suffering from the loss of memory, in her final days not recognizing her family or even which era she was currently living in.

It was Tina (played by Luisa Bradshaw-white), her daughter, who found her mum in the bath in what we can only imagine horrific circumstances, thankfully the show did not show graphic details.

In what can be easily described as a traumatic experience, Tina did not handle this well. But at least she had the support of the Carter family who have rallied behind her.

However will they be as supportive now that the drama has calmed down and the focus is mainly on the Fowler family this week?

EastEnders sources reveal that Sylvie’s funeral will be this week and there will be a very poor turn out, crushing Tina all over again. It is only Sonia, Tina’s ex-lover who shows up on time. Not exactly the face she wants to see at her mother’s funeral.

Will this result in conflict with her family? With Shirley still adamant she will not attend and the younger Carter’s also nowhere to be seen, will Tina estrange herself due to this betrayal?

Tina will as always put on a brave face and deliver a heart-warming eulogy, an emotional scene she will struggle to complete without the support of her family. But it is not all doom and gloom as when she returns to the Vic for her mother’s wake she will find many of Sylvie’s old friends who have come to honour her memory the best way they can, drinks.

But can Tina forgive the rest of the square for not showing support, and will she be thankful to Sonia?
