Tina (Luisa Bradshaw-White) and Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) were a couple for a long time on the show but like most romances on the square, they broke apart. Sonia was absent for quite some time as she got a job outside of Walford. But she has been back a couple times in the last few months.
Firstly, when Sylvie died she came home to support Tina at the funeral. The pair shared some emotionally intimate moments as she comforted the grief-stricken ex. And Sonia returned when her daughter was being bullied by school girls a saga which thankfully came to an end for Bex but continues for Louise Mitchell. (Rachel Cox) But will there be more than friendship on the cards for the two previous lovers?

Sonia is currently trying to win her daughter over as she wants her to live with her, not Martin. (Jon Peyton Price) She will struggle through legal processes but nothing can force Bex to leave her home. Due to her job Sonia is struggling to spend time with her child and even goes to citizens advice to see if she could forcibly take Bex from Martin, it turns out that she cannot.
All is not lost for the Mum as Martin will attempt to involve her more in their busy lives. But will that be enough for the working Mum? Who will Sonia turn to for solace when she doesn’t get what she wants? Will it be Tina who comforts Sonia?

With it being pride month, it would be nice to see LGBT representation in the show as currently, it lacks almost any. With the few gay characters being single or entering turbulent relationships. It doesn’t seem impossible that Tina and Sonia will couple up once again, especially with the two in such close proximity and with their friendship subtly been shown on camera. A hint for us?
