EastEnders Spoilers: Stacey and Martin Fowler’s Divorce Looms

Things have not been going well for Stacey (Lacey Turner) recently, EastEnders spoilers indicate that she seems to be heading towards another psychotic break. But will this affect her relationship with Martin (James Bye)?

Her son Arthur has just received some terrifying medical news, as his father Kush (Davood Ghadami) has been diagnosed with Brugada syndrome, which is a condition that affects the heart. It causes random heart attacks which can cause death without warning. This is a hereditary disease which means Arthur is now at risk. Stacey of course is frightened to death over the health of her child but with her mental health slipping she is not on top of the situation.

In fact, Martin went behind her back and asked Kush for money to help them afford medical equipment for Arthur. Stacey finds out about this betrayal and explodes in anger. She confronts Martin and tells him she does not want another baby with him. Is this the end of their relationship? Or will Stacey manage to turn around and see her erratic behaviour?

We’ve seen her behave like this before whilst pregnant with Arthur, she went as far as climbing on top of the Queen Vic’s roof and standing on the edge. But will this time round be any better? She has already lashed out at Carmel (Bonnie Langford) who she dragged out of her house. She has also shouted at her other child Lily for the smallest thing. It is clear she is beginning to unravel once more, but will Martin be able to cope with her mental health issues on top of caring for Arthur who is now at risk?

It is yet to be determined whether the couple will make it through the tough times ahead, but one thing is for sure. It will be a bumpy ride on EastEnders.
