EastEnders Spoilers: Shock Twist Ahead For Luke Browning

EastEnders Spoilers: Shock Twist Ahead For Luke BrowningBen Mitchell’s (Harry Reid) latest eye candy turns out not to be so sweet on EastEnders! But really, how could he have known that Luke Browning’s (Adam Astill) dad once attacked his mom?

Look for the family meet and greet to get big time awkward when Ben introduces Luke to his mom Kathy (Gillian Taylforth). Almost thirty years ago Kathy was raped by James Willmott-Brown (William Boyde), Luke’s father.

What happened as a chance encounter has become more serious for Ben and Luke. But their connection may be headed for heartbreak once the truth about their family’s tragic history comes out.

Too bad, since Ben could use a little happiness in his life. It hasn’t that long since he and his boyfriend Paul Coker (Jonny Labey), were the victims of a homophobic attack. Sadly, Paul did not survive the attack, and Ben hasn’t been involved with anyone since.

So when curious Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) tells Ben to bring Luke over so the family can get to know him, an epic showdown is on the horizon.

Let’s just say that this is one get-together that no one will soon forget. Could Luke somehow be connected to Ben’s exit from the hit BBC One show?

This week fans were left shocked and dismayed when showrunners confirmed that Harry Reid is leaving the role that made him a fan fave.

A show exec said, “Harry has been a great addition to the cast and we wish him all the best for the future.”

Of course numerous actors have played Ben, including Reid who first came on in 2014. No other details about the exit have been forthcoming except a massive tease that the exit, set for the end of the year, will be part of a monumental storyline.

Will the blockbuster departure involve James Willmott-Brown? The evil character recently returned to Walford, and has already been watching Kathy. Will he go after her son next?
