EastEnders Spoilers: Phil Mitchell Announces He’s Giving Jay The Car Lot – Mitchell Family War Breaks Out, Plus What Is Phil Hiding?

EastEnders spoilers tease that Jay (Jamie Borthwick) is about to get quite the shock when Phil (Steve McFadden), his closest thing to a father figure, leaves him a substantial amount of property. Phil will give Jay the car lot which is his most valuable asset. Jay is confused by the gesture as he thinks it should go to his biological son Ben.

However, Phil only gives Ben (Harry Reid) the Arches, which is still valuable but not quite as much. It is not only Jay who dislikes Phil’s generosity, it makes Ben feel insecure and Sharon (Letitia Dean) will even ask Jay not to take the gift.

Phil’s sudden urge to divide up his property will have a bigger effect than the man wanted, as it will cause tears in the Mitchell family. Ben will lash out and refuse to keep the Arches, probably because he feels he’s being snubbed by his dad. Feeling he is entitled to all of Phil’s assets as he is the oldest child. Could Phil be trying to make amends with Jay?

The pair went through a rough patch when Jay was accused of being a pedophile. Before Phil’s recent change of heart he was never a good father figure, perhaps he has seen the error of his ways and it now going to show Jay that he cares.

But there is a secret bigger than what Phil is letting on, why is it that he suddenly feels the need to get his finances in order? Are his health problems more serious that we thought?

Jay will uncover the truth next Friday when Phil will confess his shocking reasoning for the strange behaviour. Not only will Phil divvy up his life’s worth but he also goes missing. What is Phil dealing with which is making him act so bizarrely?
