‘EastEnders’ spoilers have been hinting at a major showdown between Phil Mitchell and Denise Fox when the Mitchell Family patriarch learned that Denise was planning on putting his newborn son up for adoption. This week Phil barged in to the hospital room and demanded that Denise let him see his baby boy, and she reluctantly did.

Phil Mitchell made it very clear he did not want Denise to give his son away, but in what seemed like a matter of minutes Denise convinces Phil to make a complete 180 and support her adoption decision – after all Denise and Phil aren’t exactly young, plus their lives are pretty crazy as is, adding a baby would only add more chaos.
‘EastEnders’ fans aren’t convinced that Phil Mitchell gave up that easy though. Has Denise Fox really heard the end of this? Or will Phil Mitchell decide at the last minute not to sign over his parental rights and to stop the adoption? We have all watched Phil for years on ‘EastEnders’ and you have to admit, giving in this easily and giving up one of his own children is certainly not in his DNA.
