EastEnders Spoilers: Michelle Fowler Leaving Walford, Returns To States With Teen Lover Preston?

EastEnders spoilers tease that after last week’s epic car crash, Michelle (played by Jenna Russel) is set to wake up in hospital with a new look on life. Did her near death experience teach her to accept the love she feels for Preston (played by Martin Anzor) and ignore society’s shame. Will the pair be able to go back to Florida and leave the square behind?

Sharon’s return last week meant that she immediately stuck her nose in this business and told Preston that Michelle no longer loved him, a lie to get the young boy to retract from their lives. But when Michelle wakes up she is fuming at her childhood friend for sending her lover away, has she realised what she really wants?

The two have hidden their affair in the last weeks due to their age difference, Preston being just 17 and Michelle well into her 50’s. This was obviously deemed socially unacceptable, whilst not illegal, most definitely frowned upon.

Preston hid under the rouge of dating Bex, a girl of fifteen who is Michelle’s own niece. And, the two stole secret moments in Martin Fowler’s home when they could. But whilst Preston was all for this relationship saying that he’d “never felt that way about any other women,” Michelle was consumed by guilt and took to taking pills.

When their relationship was brutally discovered, Preston stayed true to his feelings and also clarified the nature of their meeting, stating that it was him that pursued Michelle not the other way around. As she was his teacher this raises some ethical questions, Martin in particular struggles with these the most.

But with Michelle in the hospital and their romance starting to tear at the edges, will Michelle be able to convince Preston to leave the square with her? Can the two live a happy life together over in the states?
