‘EastEnders’ Spoilers: Max Branning’s Secret Meeting – Who Is The Mystery Man?

When EastEnders spoilers confirmed that Max Branning was returning to Walford on Christmas, we all knew it was only a matter of time before Max’s ulterior motives were revealed.

Max has never been a totally legitimate guy, and considering the fact that more than one residents in Walford tried to put him away for a crime he didn’t commit, it’s not a stretch to assume that Max was up something.

EastEnders spoilers have confirmed are suspicions – Max Branning is definitely up to something.  But, what exactly is it?  And, who is the mystery man that he is working with?

In the latest EastEnders episode we saw Max Branning slip away for a secret meeting with an ominous mystery man?

The meeting was pretty vague, however, the mystery man hinted that Max Branning was planning on taking down the Queen Vic.  Max stated that the Vic could “burn” for all he cared.  And, his secret partner seemed pleased.

Who is Max working with?  According to the EastEnders credits, Max’s new friend is listed as “Chairman, Weyland & Co.”  A popular rumor floating around the internet is that Max Branning might be working for some sort of debt recovery company or loan shark that the Carter Family owes money to.
