EastEnders Spoilers: Linda Carter’s Explosive Return Storyline

When Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) finally returns to Walford, shocks are served up for all involved at the Queen Vic. She left her pub and her husband to tend to her sick mother, but will she herself fall ill when she sees what’s become of the place and people she loves?

It should be cause for celebration when Linda comes home to celebrate her 40th birthday. She deserves a little joy in her life after being away caring for her sick mom, Elaine Peacock (Maria Friedman), right? But what she finds waiting for her at home isn’t exactly a birthday present with a big red bow on top!

Her ultra-stressed hubby Mick (Danny Dyer) is determined to do up a grand homecoming for his AWOL wifey, but does he do anything right these days? Or maybe it’s his guilty conscience that has him going the extra mile to satisfy Linda?

Viewers, and Mick’s brittle mom Shirley Carter (Linda Henry), know full well that Mick the love rat has played while the cat’s been away. With his daughter-in-law no less! Maybe this cad deserves his bad karma?

Still, Mick seems for all the world like the cat who stole the cream once Linda returns. Shameless! The edgy guy is more at ease than he has been in ages, and maybe things will go his way? Not if shrews Shirley and Fi Browning (Lisa Faulkner) have any say so! Will they throw giant wrenches into the works?

Shirley is on to Mick and his guilty ways, and Fi is, well, an enigmatic mystery. What exactly does the savvy businesswoman want from the Carters and Walford? She’s up to no good, and show spoilers reveal that her surprise pop up appearance during Linda’s return will turn smiles into frowns. And don’t count out Mad Max Branning (Jake Wood) from putting his mark on the proceedings.
