Has Lauren Branning’s (Jacqueline Jossa) much-speculated upon exit reveal finally been leaked? Instead of doom and gloom, Lauren may actually get a happily ever after with Posh Josh (Eddie Eyre)!
Well, she did just chain herself to a building in order to help him thwart his super-villain dad James Willmott-Brown (William Boyde). That deserves a little gratitude, right?
Upcoming scenes will have Lauren and Josh get intimate, after which the loved up couple will contemplate the future. Still, despite her happiness, Lauren will be concerned about Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).

Later Josh is given a ticket out of Walford when someone offers the lad a job working in Glasgow. Of course, he asks Lauren to accompany him.
Will Lauren use the offer as a means of getting away from her own messy life in Walford? In particular, this could be a dream answer to putting some space between her and her downward spiraling dad Max Branning (Jake Wood).
A reluctant Lauren chooses not to tell Ian about Josh’s offer, but she does confide in sister Abi (Lorna Fitzgerald). Nonetheless, Lauren is caught out when Ian discovers her and Josh smooching.
With the truth out and nowhere to run, Lauren must confess all. Unsurprisingly, Ian’s response isn’t kind. He tells her exactly what he thinks of the relationship and doesn’t spare her feelings.
