EastEnders Spoilers: Kat And Alfie Returning To Walford?

Are Kat (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie (Shane Richie) Moon set to return to Walford any minute now? The iconic “EastEnders,” couple have been off in Ireland searching for her son, but huge changes on the BBC One sudser may result in their imminent return! Kat and Alfie starred in the “EastEnders,” spinoff “Redwater,” a limited series with a fiery and intense plotline that enthralled devoted fans.

Kat’s baby son was taken away from her after his birth because she was a single, teen mom. Along the way the character was involved in other high profile dramas including a subsequent baby swap, and playing out the deceitful storyline involving her sister/daughter Zoe.

Showrunners did not disappoint with the spinoff, and the very first episode revealed Kat’s son’s startling identity: he was shown to be a priest named Dermott! But the shock didn’t end there, as viewers learned that Kat’s son had a jolting secret: he’s a killer.

The premiere ended with this amazing cliffhanger, but loyal fans were treated to many, many more unanticipated twists and turns before the whole truth was finally revealed! There’s no doubt that fans of the beloved Moon couple would love to see them back in their old stomping grounds. Is this about to happen sooner rather than later?

A hot new rumor is making the rounds, and it claims that Alfie and Kat will be brought back to the show that made them famous!

According to sources, showrunner John Yorke has plans to bring the couple back home, news that no doubt is music to happy fans’ ears. It remains to be seen if this latest rumor becomes fact, but what is known is that “EastEnders,” is undergoing big changes.

Former executive producer Sean O’Connor is no longer with the show, having been ousted in recent days, and ratings for the iconic show have fallen. With “Redwater,” now concluded, are Kat and Alfie now packing their bags for a return to Albert Square?
