EastEnders Spoilers: Jane Beale’s Shocking Discovery – Steven’s Web Of Lies Crumbling

EastEnders spoilers indicate that Jane (Laurie Brett) has been questioning Steven’s (Aaron Sidwell) illness for the past week, which has made Steven on edge. She asked to see his medical records and they even had a fight over his secrecy. But will she finally figure out his lies?

The Beale’s have been supportive of Steven during his time of need, up until this week they fully believed that he had a brain tumour. But when Steven lashed out at Ian (Adam Woodyatt) for doing research about his condition, Jane began to think something fishy was going on.

Jane confronted Steven and asked why he was so offended that Ian had been looking at American health options. He lied and said he didn’t want to get his hopes up, claiming that he thought he was going to die. When really, he didn’t want his web of lies to get even more complicated. Steven gave Jane fake health records to throw her off his plan.

Steven’s deception runs deep, last night we saw him taking tablets to make himself sick in front of Jane to make her believe he is telling the truth. He also blamed his aggressive outburst on the fake illness. With Jane being a long term suffer of bad health herself, she has only just learnt to walk with crutches. She sympathized with Steven and seemed to forgive him.
