Are showrunners about to reintroduce one of the creepiest villains to inhabit “EastEnders?” Trevor Morgan terrorized Walford from 2000 and 2002; until his grisly demise at the hands of his outraged wife!
Loyal soap fans remember Trevor as Little Mo Slater’s angry and abusive husband. The dangerous man actually beat up and raped his wife, leaving viewers shocked at the time. Adding to the drama, Mo later took an iron and beat the cad about the head, watching as he slumped over and died.

At that time Trevor was named Britain’s Most Hated Villain in recognition of his awful behavior. But in a perverse twist of fate, Trevor died in a fire that he set.
Afterward long-suffering Mo went on to marry Billy Mitchell. But Alex Ferns, Trevor’s portrayer, has now teased viewers with a reminder that no death is ever final in soap land!
In an interview with the Daily Star Online, Ferns had a bit to say about the possibility of Trevor returning to the BBC One super sudser. When asked directly if the evil perp would ever come back to Walford, he replied, “Never say never.”
The actor is on record about how much he enjoyed his, “EastEnders” stint, and he implied that it would be funny to be asked to return, noting that he could play an older version of the criminal. Would mature Trevor be rehabilitated or even more despicable?

“Trevor and Little Mo’s storyline certainly affected a lot of people, which I appreciate,” the actor noted, ”it was a very important storyline…I really do love playing complicated characters.” As open as Ferns sounds about a return, he would first have to figure out how to be in two places at once, as he’s now starring on the Scottish soap, “River City.”
In addition, the busy actor will be on stage in the production, “Out There On Fried Meat Ridge Road,” at Trafalgar Studios from May 2 until June 3. Never say never, though!
