EastEnders Spoilers: Hot New Romance For Max Branning, And It’s Not Who You Think!

You can say this at least for EastEnders scoundrel Max Branning: the ladies love him! Never one to go too long without some arm candy, Max (Jake Wood) may have a bombshell romance in store for the New Year.

And no, we don’t mean Michelle Fowler (Jenna Russell); that’s so 2017! Of course, Max and Michelle’s hookup is still newsworthy, if only for all the wrong reasons.

Longtime EastEnders viewers no doubt cringed reliving the recent awkward hookup between these damaged souls.  The steamy reunion was short-lived, and now there’s the possibility of Max maybe-possibly rebounding into the arms of a soon to return Walford vixen.

That’s right, what better way to ring in the new year on EastEnders with a bang than to have Max do some dirty dancing with newly returned firecracker Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite)? Yowza!

Mel’s much-anticipated EastEnders 2018 return to Albert Square has been the subject of tons of speculation. Why is she coming back after being gone for more than a decade? Does she have a secret agenda?

Maybe, just maybe, she’s got a secret thing going on with Mad Max? That may be the case if Owen herself has anything to do with it.

Speaking to Daily Star, the talented actress hinted that Mel might have a new relationship after coming back to Albert Square. In fact the blonde beauty referred to Max himself as a potential playmate. Anything is possible on EastEnders, right?

For his part, Max has wined and dined Carmel Kazemi (Bonnie Langford) and Fi Browning (Lisa Faulkner) this year. When does he sleep?
