EastEnders Spoilers: Hot New Romance For Ben Mitchell That No One Saw Coming

Can hottie Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) juggle two love interests on EastEnders? Just when we thought he was headed for surprise romance with a certain blonde, speculation is growing that he may be in for additional romance with a certain dark haired singleton. Let the games begin!

This week the rumor mill went into overdrive when Keanu and Ben Mitchell (Harry Reid) again shared air time together.

This sent speculation, which had been simmering for a while, into a roiling boil. Tons of fans are convinced that Keanu is being positioned to be Ben’s next love interest.

It all started with a random meeting in the garage that aired in August. Jobless Keanu hit Ben up for a job, any job. When the out of work young man claimed that he knew his way around a car, Ben shot back, “You mean, you know how to break into a car!” Priceless.

Fans liked what they saw between the two hunks, and rallied for a new romance for Ben who hasn’t been involved with anyone since Paul Coker (Jonny Labey).

Tragically, Ben and Paul were the victims of a homophobic attack which claimed Paul’s life.

Since that horrific incident last year Ben has been alone, but this week he was overheard to say that if Keanu were gay, he would be interested in dating him. Hmmmm.

While Ben waited to meet up with an online date, Keanu showed up. He walked over to Ben and asked about the garage job again. Ben’s roomies later commented about the two of them, but Ben replies that he doesn’t think that Keanu is gay.

All of this is transpiring in the midst of a teased pairing between Keanu and Jack Branning’s (Scott Maslen) nanny Ingrid Solberg (Pernille Brochalso). Are TPTB also testing the waters with a possible Ben/Keanu pairing?

Keanu and Ingrid will get to know each other better when she takes him to Jack’s house. But what are the chances that Keanu and Ben also get to know each other better in the coming days?
