‘EastEnders’ Spoilers: Dot and Matthew’s Dangerous Car Accident – What Happens Next?

Is Dot Branning about to die on, “EastEnders?” It doesn’t look good for either her or grandson Matthew, as both were last seen in a car traveling the wrong way toward oncoming lights.

Should Dot even have been driving? Loyal viewers know that the elderly lady’s eyesight has been spotty recently, and that’s to be expected given her age! She is quite active and otherwise engaged in life, which no doubt keeps her spirit young.

But, Dot showed poor judgement getting behind the wheel, especially with her grandson, when she knew she could not trust her eyes to get her from point A to point B.

In a situation that anyone who uses a navigation device can relate to, the electronic marvel failed Dot as she relied on it for directions. The poor lady began to panic (been there, done that!) and soon chaos ensued.

“EastEnders,” fans watched and cringed as they saw Dot fly past a, “No Entry,” sign and wind up driving on the wrong side of the road.

When she realized her mistake, it was almost too late; Dot and Matthew were facing oncoming traffic in a car small enough for a rodent!

Luckily Dot swerved just in time, otherwise a bigger vehicle would have smashed her itty bitty car like an aluminum can underfoot.

And that’s where the maddening cliffhangers left viewers, with Dot and Matthew off the road, but left to wonder about their physical condition.

Could Dot have suffered a fate worse than mere fright? The terrified look on her face as she realized what had happened was real—it’s not too far a stretch to imagine her heart being affected by the situation.

And what about Matthew? Luckily viewer’s won’t have too long to wait to find out about Dot and Matthew’s fate, spoilers tease that the situation should be resolved in the very next episode.

Will Dot have even more regrets when Jack finds out what she did?
