EastEnders Spoilers: Dean Gaffney Returns To Walford!

The wait is over, “EastEnders,” fans, an epic comeback is officially a done deal! In the coming days expect to see one of the show’s favorite sons back in Walford where he belongs. Think you know which fan favorite is a making a triumphant return to Albert Square?

According to Digital Spy, “EastEnders,” star Dean Gaffney is coming home! In the coming weeks the beloved and uber-popular star will pick up where he left off in 2003, playing friendly market trader Robbie Jackson.

Robbie, along with his girlfriend Nita, departed Albert Square 14 years ago in order to take up residence in India.

Other than a brief visit in 2010 for Bianca’s wedding, and a 2015 return for his mother Carol’s, departure, viewers have been “Robbie-less.”

During the latter visit Robbie disclosed that he and Nita had parted ways, and he wanted a fresh start in Milton Keynes.

At that time, Gaffney went on the record saying he would like to come back to Walford on a more permanent basis.

All good things come to those who wait, right? “I’m really happy to be back,” Dean said, “I’m so lucky to be given the chance to work again with such a talented group of people… I think it’s going to be a lot of fun.”

Executive producer Sean O’Connor no doubt reflects fans’ sentiments when he says, “Bridge Street Market has never quite been the same without Robbie policing it in his hi-viz jacket. Dean brings a wonderful warmth and fun to his portrayal of Robbie and I’m sure that audiences will take him to their hearts again .…”

What do you think, “EastEnders,” fans, will Robbie return to Walford solo, or with his son in tow? When he returned in 2015 he brought along his four year old son, who would now be of school age.

Could there be a darker reason for Robbie’s return, or perhaps he has some unfinished business to tie up?
