EastEnders Spoilers: Casting Shocker – A Brand New Family Arrives In Walford, Taylor’s Bring Dark Secrets And Dubious Drama

An electrifying buzz is growing around an exciting new family set to join “EastEnders,” this summer. The four Taylor kids, led by loud and proud single mom Karen, look to be a mixed bag of teenage angst and youthful exuberance. No doubt the newbies will be large and in charge, bringing tons of excitement and drama to a town that will never again be the same!

According to Digital Spy, “EastEnders,” executive producer Sean O’Connor described the family as, “noisy, brash and not to be messed with.”

Karen is a fierce, chain-smoker who does the best she can raising four kids alone, with very few resources. But what the family lacks in money, they make up for in love.

Speak a bad word about her kids, and Karen will remind you who the boss is! Two of her sons, Riley and Chatham, have learning difficulties, putting an extra challenge into the family’s everyday life.

Oldest son Keanu acts as the man of the house and always looks out for his siblings, which include his sister Bernadette. The young girl likes to lose herself in dreams of becoming famous, perhaps as an escape from the family’s tough day to day existence.

Adding to the drama, it will be revealed that another sister, Chantelle, lives in the area with a boyfriend and two kids.

Ratcheting up the dramatic tension even more, show runners tease that one of the family members has a secret, one that they refuse to detail at this time!

It sounds like the new actors are just as excited to join the iconic show as the fans are to have them. Lorraine says that she grew up watching the sudser, and already has formed a connection with her onscreen kids.

Danny stated, “I feel so privileged to already feel a part of the team. Everyone has been so friendly and kind and gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome and supported.” He also promised that charming Keanu will try hard not to, “disturb the peace in the Square,” but we kind of doubt that’s a promise he can keep!
