EastEnders Spoilers: Carter Family’s World Turned Upside Down

EastEnders’ Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) has been going through a very serious struggle, on her own. But she has decided that it’s time to tell her husband Mick (Dany Dyer) about it as she thinks the dreaded cancer is coming back for a second time.

Linda returned some weeks ago now but since her dramatic entrance back into the square she has clearly been hiding this from her friends and family. Oddly the only person she told the truth too was Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) during the shows “Biggest Week Ever,” which included the huge gas explosion.

But Linda is set to finally tell Mick and the rest of her family about the battle she has been dealing with in solitude. Her time away from Mick was shown as her taking care of her mother but in fact it was Linda who was ill. The actress Kellie Bright was off the show for maternity, she gave birth to her son Gene. The child had health complications, but is now healthy.

Linda will not get the support she needs from Mick, as he will be thrown into a jealous rage after he finds out that she confides in Woody Woodward (Lee Ryan) first. Both men are concerned for Linda, as she is showing troubling signs, but neither know why. Linda herself knows they are symptoms of remission and this is what pushes her to confide in Woody, can we blame her after how rubbish a husband Mick has been lately?

After Mick calms down and realizes that this isn’t about him, he will rise to the occasion and finally comfort his wife. Their recent martial problems will be pushed to the back as Linda will need him to get through the invasive doctor appointments and emotional distress that comes along with cancer. But will Mick aid her in this? After all she did flee far away from him the first time she was diagnosed. Do you think all will end well with the Carters?
