EastEnders Spoilers: Bex’s Bullying Comes To A Conclusion

The harrowing storyline of Bex’s ordeal with teenage bullies has been an eye opener for the fans of the show. The brilliant actress Jasmine Armfield has been on the popular UK show This Morning to show her support for the charity Be Kind which is an anti-bulling campaign.

EastEnders are hoping that this story is raising awareness for girls in the UK, after the intense scenes they show fans numbers they can call for support if they are facing similar issues. Jasmine herself said this, “I really did want to do it justice, it’s so common, I wanted to give a good representation for young people and that if they see it they might get some help.” The actress has received much praise on social media for her interaction with the role off screen.

After seeing Bex verbally and physically abused many fans want the torment to end for the poor girl. We’ve seen her a victim of social media harassment with naked photos spread, isolation at school and also the horrible scene in the bathroom where her clothes were ripped from her body.

This week shows the bullying get to an even higher level when Bex is threatened in her own bedroom. The vicious girls Madison, Alexandra, and Louise invade her personal space and smash her guitar. Bex has been shown to be musical and this will truly hurt her. Jasmine has said that whilst filming she was scared, “When we’re filming, they really do scare me, it’s in their eyes.”
