It looks like ‘Eastenders’ fans will be seeing a whole lot of Danny Dyer in the coming weeks. New reports indicate that new executive producer John Yorke is looking to give Danny Dyer a new deal to stay on the show. This is mostly because the popular soap series has seen a huge dip in ratings recently. Danny plays Mick Carter, the son of Shirley Carter.
According to Britain’s The Sun, John Yorke is working out a new deal for Danny to continue playing Mick Carter. After all, he’s the last person fans want to see leave The Vic right now.

Other reports indicate that Yorke is looking to possibly bring back Kat and Alfie Moon now that their spin-off series ‘Red Water’ has ended.
Meanwhile, it also looks like Danny is dealing with some major issues in his personal life, too. Reports say that he allegedly had a six-week affair with Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, leaving his wife Joanne Mas absolutely devastated over the news.
Sarah played Danny’s on-screen partner Stephanie in the 2012 film ‘Run for Your Wife’ when they apparently started their romance. Sources say that Sarah believed Danny was single and felt betrayed when he found out that he was still with Joanne. So far Danny himself has not made any comments about the romance allegations.
