EastEnders Actor Ben Hardy Joins Cast of Queen BiopicA former Eastenders actor has been confirmed to join the cast of the new Queen biopic. New reports say Ben Hardy has landed one of his biggest Hollywood roles yet as he’ll be reuniting with X-Men director Bryan Singer for the film.

Ben will be playing Queen’s drummer Roger Taylor. He wrote or co-wrote several songs including “Under Pressure” and “These Are The Days of Our Lives.” Meanwhile, actor Gwilym Lee will portray the band’s guitarist Brian May and Joe Mazzello has been cast as bassist John Deacon. There are also several reports that say Rami Malek will portray Freddie Mercury.

Many EastEnders fans know that Ben is one of the fastest rising stars in Hollywood right now. He also played the Archangel in Bruan Singer’s last X-Men movie. The as of yet-to-be-titled Queen film is expected to debut in cinemas in Christmas 2018.The movies promises to feature some of the band’s biggest hits. Of course, that’s not the only film fans will get to see Ben Hardy in. He’s also starring in Granite Mountain, which co-stars Josh Brolin and Miles Tiller and is set to hit theaters September 21, 2017.
