EastEnder Spoilers: New Details Surrounding Charlie Cotton’s Return And Max Branning Partnership

It’s official: Declan Bennett is back on, “EastEnders,” as sneaky, snaky Charlie Cotton! There’s little doubt that Charlie is up to no good, but what is his exact agenda in coming back to Walford?

Dot’s grandson Charlie was last seen in Albert Square in 2015 when he exited town in fear of cold-blooded Vincent Hubbard. At the time Ronnie Mitchell convinced Vincent to make her ex and baby daddy disappear. Ronnie is now deceased, and her son Mathew is being raised by her widower Jack Branning.

Recently fans have seen Dot trying to contact Charlie, and it’s now a matter of time before the family is reunited. But will Dot like what Charlie has to say, and what he’s up to? Surely Charlie won’t cotton to having his son raised by the likes of Jack!

Matthew could surely use the guidance of a strong father figure following the death of his mom in the spectacular and controversial Ronnie and Roxy death storyline. But will Charlie finally step up to his responsibility? After Ronnie’s death Charlie failed to appear to comfort his son and Matthew was left to mourn on his own.

Explosive EastEnders spoilers now reveal that although Charlie is a bit late to the party, he’ll arrive in town with guns blazing! It appears that Charlie will enlist Max’s help to undermine his own brother and regain custody of Matthew.

Max and Charlie have been spotted in scenes together, but it’s unclear just who is using who! Viewers know that Max is planning an epic revenge plot against the people who framed him for murder. Could Max be using Charlie as a part of his twisted plan to ruin the lives of several Walford residents, including his brother? How mean!

If Max does go after Jack it will be the latest in a series of blows for the ex-copper.
