Days Of Our Lives Star Billy Flynn Opens Up About Becoming a Writer

It’s without a doubt that Days of Our Lives star Billy Flynn is one of the most multi-talented actors in the soap opera industry right now. The fan favorite is Days is now tapping into his other talents behind the scenes, too.

Billy recently wrote the script for a new drama called Willowbrook, which is about a single father left reeling in the wake of his wife’s cancer death. He opened up about his side projects to Starry Magazine, telling the publication that he’s definitely got his hands full – but that’s not a bad thing, of course. Willowbrook is currently in development, with Rose Ganguzza producing. It’s without a doubt that his fans can’t wait to see the film!

Billy is also starring in the horror film, Escape Room. The film hits store shelves this month. Speaking about his most memorable moments while filming the movie, he said, “Just trying things that at the time I hadn’t yet…was a lesson in preparation and body management to have to be at a ten from start to finish. I have such admiration for actors who do these types of films…I mean, damn! It is truly one of the hardest scenes I have ever had to shoot.”

Being the humble actor that he is, Billy also took the time to thank his fans for supporting him in both Days of Our Lives and his other projects throughout the years. Billy says that without his fans, he wouldn’t where he is today. He said, “Just thank you from the bottom of my heart…I have some of the best fans in the world. They are the most loyal in the world. I owe them everything. And thank you for taking the time to ask the questions…It was a real pleasure.”
