It looks like ‘Days of Our Lives’ star Alison Sweeney has had enough of her internet trolls. There’s a new report that says the soap opera and reality competition show host has just gotten a restraining order on an online bully who has been harassing her through social media.
According to reports, an obsessed fan has been ordered to stay away from Alison and her family. A judge in the case ordered John Christopher LuVisi to stay at least 1,000 feet away from the soap opera actress. He’s also been ordered to stay away from her family, house, car, her work location and her children’s school.
What’s more, legal documents also say that LuVisi has been stalking Alison Sweeney through 15 different social media accounts. And while he’s been doing this for several years now, his posts and messages have gotten more frightening over the last several months. If that weren’t enough, he also threatened to reveal compromising pictures of Alison if she didn’t agree to send him money. He also allegedly sent her messages that said “You better answer me,” and “You can’t hide from me,” among other texts.
Even though Alison tried to block him on her social media accounts several times, he just opened up new ones to contact her.
So far Alison herself has not made any comments about the case. Although she did contact the California High Patrol last June about the harassment.
