Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Who Else Will Be Fired On DOOL?

The good news about, “Days of Our Lives,” is that it’s been renewed for another year, the bad news is that several cast members have been given pink slips, with more cuts likely. Which additional cast members are most likely to replaced or let go?

Without a crystal ball it’s impossible to tell who’s on the DOOL chopping block. But DOOL fans can expect to see more changes to their beloved soap in the coming months.

At 51-years young perhaps it’s time for DOOL to have a little, ahem, work done. There’s already been a nip and tuck in the head writer position, so we can assume some rejuvenated storylines will accompany the casting changes.

Dena Higley has been replaced by former, “General Hospital,” head writer Ron Carlvati, and his storytelling will be on screen this summer.

Thus far Vincent Irizarry (Deimos Kiriakis) and Vivian Jovanni (Ciara) have been released from the show, and Arianne Zucker (Nicole) has left of her own accord.

DOOL is the lowest rated soap of the remaining four sudsers currently on air. With its renewal now in the bag, it’s incumbent on the soap’s execs to show that they’re serious about doing their part to right the floundering ship.

The writing shakeup is a good omen, since Carlivati is known for sizzling storylines, as he proved on ratings-winner GH. So, who might be leaving in order to accommodate his dynamic brand of storytelling?

According to DOOL spoilers, A. Martinez (Eduardo Hernandez) is leaving the show. His character exits in early April when Eduardo is arrested and departs Salem. Could this spell the end of the Hernandez family? When Big Papi gets arrested what will happen to his kids, Gabi (Camilla Banus), Rafe (Galen Gering) and Dario (Jordi Vilasuso)?

Do you think that Brady is redundant without Deimos to fight and Nicole to love? Could Eric Martsolf be cut?

Or maybe the show’s SORAS’d teen set, one of Higley’s creations, will be cut back. The writing may be on the wall, since Jovanni was a part of that crowd.
