‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Steve’s Long-Lost Son Arrives In Salem – Honeymoon Over For Patch and Kayla?

On, “Days of Our Lives,” the honeymoon is over for Patch (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans)! Is evil Ava’s (Tamara Braun) spawn set to kill any chance of happiness between Salem’s sweethearts?

Before she died Ava told Patch that they had a son together. Sadly, they came to find out that the boy was deceased. But, long story short, in soapland no one dies permanently!

It seems that Patch has discovered that his son is indeed alive, and he’s determined to do right by the boy and bring him into the Johnson family fold.

Of course, his other son Joey (James Lastovic) definitely did not do right by his half-brother seeing that he’s the one who killed Ava. Oops!

Since the TPTB have announced that the role of Patch’s son has been cast, it’s only a matter of time before the young man arrives in Salem. The only question remaining: will he be Ava 2.0, or did he inherit his dad’s patch?

One thing is certain: Patch will move heaven and earth to locate his flesh and blood. Still, his search comes with a bit of trepidation—Ava is his mother after all.

Ava’s certifiably crazy antics are legendary, and prior to her death she wreaked havoc on Joey and Kayla. First, she tried to kindle an affair with the teen, and then she locked Kayla in a closet and left her to die.

So it makes sense that well-meaning Joey took it upon himself to smother the conniving vixen! Well, not really, but let’s just say that his impulsivity got the best of him.

When Patch found Joey with the murder weapon, Joey clung to the pillow and sobbed, not believing what he’d just done. No worries, though, his uncle the police commissioner covered up the crime!

Will Patch’s new son bring about a day of reckoning for guilt-ridden Joey and his enabling relatives? Stay tuned, DOOL fans, things are about to get explosive in Horton Square!
