Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Sonny Believes Will is Alive, Walks Out On Paul

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for the week of October 2 reveal that the “Paulson” wedding will not happen. Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) is hopeful that Will Horton (Chandler Massey) is alive. However, where does this leave Paul Narita (Christopher Sean?)

Paul is known to be level-headed. He understands that there is a history with “Wilson.” However, he might not be so sympathetic when his own wedding is canceled.

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers reveal that Paul wants to continue with the wedding. However, Sonny just can’t bring himself to do it. If there is a chance that Will is alive, he wants to find him and bring him back home.

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Freddie Smith discussed what is going through Sonny’s heart and mind.

“Sonny and Will never chose to break up. So, Sonny has held on to this guilt that if had only stayed in Salem, Will would be alive, and they’d still be together. Paul was Sonny’s first love, but when Will was alive, Sonny wanted to spend the rest of his life with him. Yes, Sonny has moved on, but never stopped loving Will.”

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers also reveal that each time Sonny looks into Ari’s eyes, he sees Will Horton. It is a constant reminder of the love he had with the dead Salemite.

Even though Paul wants to help Sonny find out the truth, there will be an emotional roller coaster. The feelings that come back to Sonny will not be easy for Paul to deal with. Expect him to be sad, hopeful, hurt and full of rage all at the same time. It is teased that Paul will have difficulty handling the range of Sonny’s emotions.

“Sonny doesn’t want to have this looming over their marriage. He thinks that wouldn’t be right. So, Sonny wants to find out the truth and then be able to make his decision.”

However, what will that decision be? With how much Sonny still loves Will, is Paul really his future – or his second choice?
