Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Ron Carlivati Talks Sami and Will’s Return

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers tease the return of Chandler Massey, who will reprise the role of Will Horton. He is supposed to make his big comeback around September 15, which the actor confirmed on Twitter. Alison Sweeney is also coming back as Sami Brady, which is rumored to be in October. What can fans expect from these two characters?

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, head writer Ron Carlivati spoke about what to expect this fall. Two characters that were discussed were Sami and Will.

“One of the things we are most excited about this fall is the return of Sami. Sami’s arrival is going to shake things up in a big way for a lot of people in town. She is in the thick of things from the first scene. People know that Chandler Massey is returning to the show and I don’t think it’s a big stretch to say the impetus for her [Sami] arrival in town has something to do with that.”

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers reveal that Sami will impact several stories and different characters. It was teased several weeks ago that Sami and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) even have a scene together. It will be interesting to find out what Carlivati has in store for all the returning characters. However, the most talked about is Sami and Will.

Sami’s return is not long-term, though. The writing team wanted Sami’s time in Salem to impact a lot of different stories. Carlivati assured viewers that she will certainly do that.

Alison Sweeney’s character will also be in on a Memphis storyline. Sami, along with several other Salemites will be drawn to the city for different reasons. All that was revealed was that it is a clue in a mystery.

Some fans are wondering if this has to do with Will or perhaps Eileen Davidson’s return. Whether Davidson is playing Kristen DiMera or Susan Banks has not been made clear yet.

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers tease that the Memphis mystery is connected to the unexpected guest at the “Chabby” and “Paulson” wedding.
