Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Ron Carlivati Reveals First DOOL Episode Airdate

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal Ron Carlivati has announced on social media the airdate of his first episode as headwriter at NBC’s DOOL. He shows the top of a script with the date it was taped back in February and set to air on Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Are you excited to see Carlivati back working in the daytime drama industry, after being absent for almost 2 years?

Ron Carlivati may be a new name to fans of NBC’s Days of Our Lives but to fans of the genre, he truly is a veteran in his own right. Just over 10 years ago, while ABC’s One Live to Live (OLTL) was still on our television screens, he was promoted to headwriter there until the soap opera was canceled and the online transition was dropped.

ABC’s General Hospital (GH) viewers will definitely recognize his name as headwriter of their beloved series from 2012 until he was suddenly replaced by Jean Passanante and Shelly Altman almost 2 years ago.

Ron Carlivati was the one responsible for bringing over OLTL fan favorites like Starr Manning (Kristen Alderson) and her father, Todd Manning (Roger Howarth) to General Hospital’s Port Charles. We all know the history of the copyright issues that occurred and were thrilled GH was able to keep the actor’s just under new names; one actor was so loved, Michael Easton, he was able to return to Port Charles as 4 different characters.

At the end of January 2017, it was announced that Ron Carlivati would be the new head writer at Days of Our Lives and by February 2, they were already taping his work. It is great to see him back at the helm and we look forward to some great storylines.
