Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Marlena Dumps John!

Viewers who think they’re seeing double on Days of Our Lives needn’t adjust their screens: they’re absolutely correct. Actually, you can make that quadruple!

Who knew that deliciously wicked Angelica Deveraux (Morgan Fairchild) would kick up such a storm when she returned to Salem? The blond seductress has been wreaking havoc since day one, with an epically deviant (but brilliant) plan now in progress.

By the way, isn’t it great to see the sensational Fairchild back on our screens? She’s a living legend and it’s about time viewers were once again treated to her immense talent and impeccable comedic timing.

I mean, who else could get away with dissing tough guy Patch (Stephen Nichols) as merely a one-eyed detective? Anyway, her return as Angelica kicks off a storyline that deftly calls on Days’ history while cleverly pushing current storylines forward.

Angelica has enlisted those nutty blasts from the past Hattie and Bonnie to do her dirty work, which means fans get to see Deidre Hall and Judi Evans pull double duty as they also portray their current characters, Marlena and Adrienne. It’s a hoot for viewers, and no doubt a fun change-up for the actresses.

Expect lookalike impersonators Hattie and Bonnie to hilariously complicate matters all over town, beginning with the former dumping Marlena’s true love, John (Drake Hogestyn).

Look for Hattie to make a beeline for Roman (Josh Taylor), leading to lots of slapstick confusion and angst for all involved. How long will it be before superspy John smells a super-sized rat in Horton Square?

Next week Anjelica will visit Bonnie in prison, and fill her in on the details of her sneaky mission. What will Bonnie, and her riotous accent, be required to do once she’s sprung from the big house?

Spoilers reveal that Angelica will stop at nothing less than making life miserable for dream couple Adrienne and Lucas (Bryan Datillo).
