Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Judi Evans Gets Inside Bonnie’s Head, Explains Her Motivations

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for fall 2017 reveal that Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) will continue destroying Adrienne Kiriakis’ life. Just because Hattie Adams (Deidre Hall) gets caught doesn’t mean Bonnie will go down, too. In a recent interview, the actress discussed her dual characters. Evans explained Bonnie’s state of mind and hints at more drama.

Speaking to ABC Soaps in Depth, Evans explained that Bonnie justifies her behavior. She truly believes there is a good reason to take over Adrienne’s life, destroy her relationships and get revenge. She is also willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants.

Not only will she do anything to get revenge, “Days of Our Lives” spoilers tease she will go to extreme lengths to avoid returning to prison. She also has a similar mindset to when Bonnie was in Salem years ago. She feels it is necessary to fight for every little thing. It seems that prison has only solidified this belief.

“You’ve got to fight for what you want. Unfortunately, that was her life… knowing that she’s gotta fight for every little scrap.”

Judi Evans brought up a little bit of history, suggesting that Bonnie isn’t completely evil. After all, she did take the blame for a murder committed by her daughter, Mimi Lockhart (Farah Fath.) It is the reason she was in prison, so that Mimi could live a life of freedom.

Even though Bonnie has one selfless act in her karma account, there is no excuse for what she is doing. Her beef is with Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) and Adrienne has nothing to do with it. An innocent woman is sitting behind bars, just so Bonnie can get back at Maggie for “stealing” the man she loved. Ignoring the injustice of this, Bonnie feels that it is necessary in order to complete her mission. She will twist the facts just enough so that she can justify her actions.

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers tease that this storyline will continue. However, Bonnie will worry that she is in over her head. Not only are Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) concerned, but an old acquaintance from prison will show up. She will have to do a lot of quick thinking, smooth talking and deal making to keep her scheme a secret.
