Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Hope Has Second Thoughts About Marriage, Will She Break Rafe’s Heart?

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for the next two weeks reveal that Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) is getting cold feet. The detective is having second thoughts about marrying Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering.) Is the “Rope” romance coming to an end?

This is not the first time Hope Brady has resisted marrying Rafe Hernandez. When he first proposed, she said no. Her reasoning was that she needed justice for Bo Brady (Peter Reckell.) Shortly after rejecting the marriage proposal, Hope changed her mind.

While “Chabby” and “Paulson” are planning their weddings, Rafe and Hope don’t even have a date. In fact, they have done no planning at all. Earlier this week, Rafe started talking about the wedding. However, Hope was not interested in making any solid plans. She insisted that there was no rush to walk down the aisle.

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers tease that Hope will talk to Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) about the situation. The hesitant bride will confess her doubts about tying the knot with Rafe. Even though specific details have not been released, it seems that might be several things gnawing at Hope.

Bo and Hope were – and still are – a daytime supercouple. Fans want Hope to be happy, but there is a debate on whether Rafe is a good match. They make good friends and police partners. However, is there really any chemistry between the two? Plus, their personalities might create conflict.

Hope is independent, a survivor and is a leader. She likes to be in control and values her career. How the Salem PD views her, including other cops, is important to Hope.

Even though Rafe Hernandez is a great guy, he might not be right for Hope. He put her on the spot in front of everyone. Even though he claimed it was just teasing, Hope felt devalued, pressured and disrespected.

There are also cultural and lifestyle differences. In Rafe’s world, the man takes charge and a woman is supportive. Hope’s independence and take-charge attitude might be difficult for Rafe to accept.

Hope also witnessed how Rafe lashed out at Eli Grant (Lamon Archey.) Even though Rafe was concerned about Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus,) he let his emotions take over. Hope didn’t say anything, but her disapproval and concern were obvious.

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers reveal that several couples will get married. However, one will have a rocky road to the altar. It isn’t clear if Rafe and Hope will endure or if their romance is doomed. Only time will tell what fate has in store for “Rope.”
