Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Eric Martsolf Has Something To Celebrate!

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers reveal that November 13 marks an important milestone for Eric Martsolf. It will be his 9-year-anniversary portraying the role of Brady Black.

Prior to “DOOL,” Martsolf was on “Passions.” After airing on NBC, it moved to DirecTV but was suddenly canceled in 2008. It was devastating for the actor. He believed that he would never work again.

However, he did and won the role of Brady Black, which previously belonged to Kyle Lowder, Arianne Zucker’s real-life ex-husband.

Another interesting tidbit revealed in the interview is that the actor had done a script reading for a different character on “Days of Our Lives.” Spoilers tease that the character never moved past the reading room, though. Casting directors must have seen something they liked because now he plays fan-favorite Brady Black.

When speaking about Brady and the future of the character, prepare for some exciting things.

“He is definitely colorful and I can say that I’m grateful to [head writer] Ron Carlivati for bending his pen a little bit and writing to those complexities within Brady’s character.”

He added about Brady Black’s complicated and complex character,

“I think he’s an addict that not only desires substances and powder, but is also addicted to engagements and saying, ‘I do’ and wanting those moments.”

Not only is he celebrating 9 years of being on “Days of Our Lives,” spoilers reveal that he has spent 15 years in daytime television. It is quite the achievement. While some characters are recast, Eric Martsolf took over Kyle Lowder’s role exceptionally well. It is a feat that not many soap actors can accomplish.

Fans have their favorites, that’s for sure. Now, Martsolf is one of them, even with the emotional and shocking storylines. Despite him behaving like a bit of a villain lately, viewers still love the character.
