“Days of Our Lives” spoilers two weeks ahead reveal that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) leaves Salem. Before going away, he writes Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) a letter. It is hinted that this letter could change everything.
Eric has been suffering silently for months. At first, his secret letters were about forgiveness. He was living with so much guilt for Dr. Daniel Jonas’ (Shawn Christian) death. However, once Eric was forgiven, things took an interesting turn. The reconciled friendship between “Ericole” started developing into something more.

Even though Nicole is involved with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf,) it is clear that she has feelings for Eric. It doesn’t appear to be a case of denial. It is because she is so preoccupied with keeping Brady calm. It is on her mind all the time, so she hasn’t had a chance to think about anything else. This includes listening to what her heart is saying.
“Days of Our Lives” spoilers tease that this will change. After coming close to kissing Eric, Nicole will realize she feels more than friendship. However, the former alcoholic priest will try to make things easier for his former lover. He decides that it is in Nicole’s best interest if he leaves Salem.
Just like with everything else regarding Nicole, he will write a letter. The details were not released, but it sounds like the letter will explain everything that is in Eric’s heart. It is hinted that Eric leaving town will start a chain of events that will change everything.
“Days of Our Lives” spoilers reveal that Eric’s decision will cause Nicole to have a specific reaction. Head writer Ron Carlivati explained that her reaction and what she does next will bring the whole situation to a head.
There are a lot of fans that want to see “Ericole” rekindle their romance. It seems that the storyline is headed in that direction.
However, Brady will be a big problem. He is already a jealous monster who is just getting worse. His extreme measures to keep Nicole could reach new heights. Add in some alcohol along with being rejected and his rage could reach explosive levels.
