Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Ben Blames People of Salem for Will’s Murder – They ‘Changed’ Him

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers tease that Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) appearance will shock Salem. He also has a crazy claim – that Will Horton (Chandler Massey) is alive. In an interview, the actor revealed that Ben blames everyone else because they “changed” him.

Villains are interesting on soaps. Even though they are hated by many, there are usually a few characters that feel for the people that do evil things. Take Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) or even Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry.) They are complex characters that have reasons for doing what they did.

However, Ben Weston is not one of those people. Every single person in Salem hates this man. He killed people, including the beloved Will Horton. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Robert Scott Wilson discussed what is going through Ben’s mind.

“Everyone in town has something against Ben. He thinks they changed him into the person he became, so Ben’s attitude is, ‘I’m clearing my name. Screw all of you.’”

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers indicate that not only does Ben want to clear his name, but his conscious as well. Does this mean that he wasn’t responsible for Will’s death? Not necessarily. We are still not 100 percent sure if Will is alive or dead.

What we do know is to expect a lot more scenes with Chandler Massey. Especially with his grieving father, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo.) Plus, Alison Sweeney is reprising the role of Sami Brady starting on October 13. She will also get involved in Ben’s return and his claim that Will isn’t dead.

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers teased what to expect in the upcoming week. A preview clip released by NBC reveals that Ben is interrogated. He insists that “the dude isn’t dead,” referring to Will. So, if he didn’t kill Lucas and Sami’s son, then who did the dead body belong to?

That is part of a bigger mystery that goes all the way to Memphis. It will involve Sami, Lucas, Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) and other characters, too. This just doesn’t affect Lucas, Sami and Sonny, but other Salemites, too.
