Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Andre’s Revenge on Kate Backfires

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for the week of September 4 reveal that Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) is going to find himself in some hot water. Always one seeking revenge, his plans will go horribly wrong when he tries to get back at Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow).

Some fans were wondering if Andre had feelings for Kate, especially after he reacted to the “Koman” kiss. However, Penghlis indicated to Soap Opera Digest that was not the case. It is a matter of him feeling like he is being sabotaged.

“After Andre heard Kate throwing him under the bus with the board members, and then seeing the kiss with Roman, Andre feels that he is being sabotaged. So, he thinks the best thing to do is to bring everything out in the open.”

However, that is going to be a huge mistake for Andre on “Days of Our Lives.” Spoilers tease that using a press conference to expose Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and Kate’s affair will cause more harm than good. Damage control will have to be done, especially after Roman publicly denies it. Kate even goes as far as to allow Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) to interview her for The Spectator.

That isn’t the only way Andre’s plan will backfire. Trying to disprove Kate’s theory that he is mentally unfit, he asks the fake Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) for a mental competency exam. Wanting revenge, Hattie declares him insane and has him hauled off in a straitjacket.

He finds himself at Bayview and runs into John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans. He figures out what is really going on. However, he can’t do anything about it until they either escape or are rescued.

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers also reveal that after he gets out of Bayview, he will still have to answer for his little press conference stunt. His brother, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will confront him about it. Chad won’t be happy. Not only does he view Kate like a mother figure, but it just made DiMera Enterprises look bad.

Even though Andre and Chad will once again have some conflict, Thaao Penghlis teased on Instagram that the brothers eventually get closer. After two years of trying, Chad will finally love Andre.

Working together and running an empire, that could be good or bad. Fans will just have to wait and see how all this turns out.
