Many fans remember Tyler Christopher best from his role as Nikolas Cassadine on General Hospital. Well now he’s made the jump from Port Charles to Salem in Days of Our Lives as Stefan. He is set to debut during the December 29 episode. According to reports, everyone will find out that Stefan is the long lost son of Stefano DiMera (played by actor Joseph Mascolo).

Meanwhile, Louise Sorel, who many fans haven’t seen since she left the show in 2012, will reprise her role as Vivian Alamain. She will also make her grand return during the December 29 episode.
What’s more, we know that Tyler Christopher’s character and Vivian Alamain are connected. According to head writer Ron Carlivati, he didn’t want to reveal too much, but we know that Tyler and Louise’s storyline will be one that we haven’t seen before. He did say though that Tyler’s new character Stefan does share some similarities with his General Hospital one, Nikolas Cassadine.
Ron said back in November, “I’m trying to give this guy a pretty good sense of humor. The story is so good, and I’m not just saying that. It’s funny, it’s interesting, it’s all of the drama you would expect from daytime, but I just feel like it’s jazzed up a little bit.”
