Days of Our Lives News: Nadia Bjorlin Gives Birth to Second Child, What is Baby’s Name?

“Days of Our Lives” star Nadia Bjorlin has given birth, according to an Instagram post by her husband. Grant Turnbull announced the joyous baby news by posting a sweet photo of the mother and child.

Bjorlin was due to deliver her child in August. However, he arrived on Friday, September 1. The time of his birth was not revealed, but the proud papa posted the news late last night. The child’s weight was also not stated, but he looks like a big baby.

Grant Turnbull and Nadia Bjorlin’s baby is named Viggo Sebastian. Before raising your eyebrows at the name, understand that Viggo is actually a name with some old roots. It has Norse and Scandinavian originals and means battle or fight. They gave their little bundle of joy a strong name and it isn’t too uncommon in countries like Norway, Denmark and Sweden.

There is a special significance to the baby being born on September 1. It is also the seven-year anniversary of Grant Turnbull coming to America. The proud father of two also raved about how his wife was a rockstar during childbirth. Looking at her photo, she looks fabulous and her skin has that new mommy glow.

“7 years today since I moved to America. What a way to celebrate with my wife. What a rockstar you are my love. Welcome to the world. Viggo Sebastian Turnbull.”

The “Days of Our Lives” actress already has one boy, Torin Mathias Turnbull. He was born on May 4 of last year and weighed 7 lbs., 13 oz. He measured 21 inches long and was born after 26 hours of labor. On social media, Nadia refers to him as “Torin the Chief.”
