According to the official Days Of Our Lives casting call, courtesy of Soap Opera Digest, “Alex has spent the last ten years traveling the world and amassing a small fortune. His ambition grew and his success in the marketplace has given him an enough of a cocky confidence to come to Salem with an agenda to challenge his family for control of the business. When it comes to women, Alex can be a bit of a playboy like his dad used to be.”

DOOL spoilers tease that the character will begin filming in March, which means it will be several months before he actually airs on the NBC soap opera. It’s worth noting that Sonny Kiriakis has a long lost half-brother named Alex, he’s the son of Justin and Angelica Deveraux. Is Sonny’s half-brother headed back home to Salem?
