It’s without a doubt that Kassie DePaiva is celebrating her life these days like she’s never celebrated them before! She is now in remission after a lengthy battle with her health. Back in August of 2016, Kassie announced that she has been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.
Fans know Kassie the best as Eve Donovan on Days of Our Lives.
Just a few months ago Kassie also celebrated her remission by sharing a touching photo with the staff of New York-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. She captioned the pic with, “These are the true angels that saved my life. #greatlove.”

Luckily for Kassie’s fans, reports indicate that she will be returning to Days of Our Lives. Just last month Entertainment Weekly confimed that Kassie’s episodes will begin airing in October.
“I consider this just a bump in the road,” Kassie wrote on her blog in August. “The Days and One Life to Live family love runs deep. Although I’m unable to be camera ready now, my goal is to get back to stirring up trouble in Salem soon.”
We wish Kassie nothing but the best for the future and hope to see her on the small screen real soon.
